Walbrook College, Ibadan has been accredited by the Oyo State Ministry of Education and West African Examination Council since 1998 and by the National Board for Technical Education (later National Examination Council) since 2000.
Walbrook College, Ibadan is organized on the basis of the National 9-3-4 policy of Education. Especially the “9-3-” part of the policy. The school follows the scheme as outlined in the National Curriculum, and standards set by the West African Examination Council and the National Examination Council.
The school runs the Junior and Senior Secondary programmers. Each having a three- year’s duration. There is Walbrook Junior School that runs the first six years of the nine years part of the Basic education.
JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL
This is a three-year programmed leading to the award of the Oyo State and Federal Junior School Certificates.
Walbrook Junior [Basic] School is a private, coeducational Basic (Primary) school. It was established to provide the best quality, foundation education with standard comparable anywhere in the world, to children aged 3 - 11 years.
SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL
The Senior Secondary School is designed to complement the junior (Basic) Secondary. In the senior secondary school, each student offers Six (6) core subjects and in addition, chooses two or three subjects from the optional or electives.
Thus having to offer a minimum of eight and maximum of nine.
The school enjoys the services of a consultancy firm in the area academics and administrative organization, co-curricular activities and counseling.
Leadership training, career development and achievement workshops and seminars are held regularly for the students. Teachers also receive in-service training and workshops on a regular basis.
